Thank you for your interest in my holiday-home by the sea in the South of France.
This comfortable high standard holiday-home is suitable for up to 6 people. It has a modern fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven with ceramic top, microwave, large fridge/freezer, mixer, coffee-machine, electr. waterkettle and plenty of crockery and store-room.
The dining-/sitting-room is equipped with blue wooden chairs, table and sideboard, 2 easy chairs, double-bed-couch, wardrobe, TV, Radio-Tape-CD-Player. WC is separate on the ground floor.
Upstairs you`ll find 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed, the other with 2 single beds; both rooms have fitted wardrobes. There is a balcony which catches even the last sunbeams. The bathroom has a bath-tub. The 45qm terrace/garden is equipped with funiture and a barbecue.
The house itself is situated in a residence in the first row at the waterside. It is set back a little to give privacy and you can enjoy the sun as well as the shade.
Le Barcarès
You will find Le Barcarès at the Mediterranean-sea between Narbonne and Perpignan (Motorway A9). You can get there cheap and quick with "Ryan-air", airport Perpignan is only 12 miles away.
The region is not only known for its famous painters but also for the warmest climate in France. There are beautiful 1000 year old villages, monastaries, grottos, fishing-harbours and lovely hillside with its vineyards. You are always welcome to taste the different wines in the cellars. Also Spain, a Safari-Park, the Pyrenaes or a golf-course are all within easy reach (15-50km).
Activities
Barcarès offers plenty of activities like sailing, surfing, waterski or diving; horse-riding, tennis, table-tennis, go-cart, mini-golf are also available; the area is ideal for walking (with or without a dog), cycling or inline-skating. You can visit a Disco at "Lydia" which is a large ship ashore - or you try your luck at gambling in the Casino. There are oyster-banks not only to view but also to taste and enjoy the fresh seafood.
